It's official: Economic mobility in America is dead
Also: part-time, zero-benefit, non-living-wage "gigs" are not jobs
Two media outlets serving the 1% have something to say…
First, from Bloomberg: For 53 Million Americans in Low-Wage Jobs, a Difficult Road Out:
44% of 18-64 year-olds earn less than two-thirds median pay
Brookings: 52% chance lowest earners stay in same pay bracket
And next, from Quartz: The great American labor paradox: Plentiful jobs, most of them bad:

The middle class has been decimated.
The recovery is fiction.
Full-time, full-benefit, living-wage+ jobs are NOT REPLACED by part-time, zero-benefit, non-living-wage “gigs”.
They’re just not.
America is doing Capitalism wrong.
